How to make a Donation for Books or Literature
We have been asking AA members and our local groups to donate books and literature which we take to Cuba and give out free to our fellow AA members in Cuba.
Like we said on other pages of this site, the cost of a "Big Book" in Cuba is equivalent to the monthly salary of a Cuban Doctor. If they have the money to purchase books, they most likely have to purchase them off the black-market in Havana.
We have taken donations from local AA members and AA groups to purchase books and literature which we have been taking to Cuba to give out to Cuban AA Groups. They distribute these to their most needy AA members.
If you are planning on visiting Cuba this year, please order your AA literature a couple of months before leaving from your AA Book Store as most stores do not stock literature in Spanish.
